Description
A long knurled brass stop, so the lever never meets the wall.
Ritmo is a brass door stop that projects clearly from the wall, door or floor, with a knurled center and a black rubber tip that takes the contact. At 240 g it has the heft of the levers and hinges around it, and the knurl catches the light the same way. Open the hall door onto it a hundred times a week and all you hear is the rubber. Four finishes let it match the rest of the room's hardware.

Installation guide
Open the door fully, mark where the lever or door edge meets the surface, and mount the stop so the rubber tip takes that contact. Use fixings suited to the wall, door or floor.

- Fix the base plate, then thread the stop on and tighten by hand.
Care
Wipe the brass and rubber with a soft dry cloth. No abrasives, no polish. Brass is meant to age with the house.
Shipping and returns
Free U.S. shipping on every order. Handling takes 3 business days and delivery 15 to 20 business days after the order; priority processing shortens that to 10 to 20. Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery on unused, uninstalled pieces in their original packaging; a restocking fee of 5% applies, more if the packaging or parts are missing. Every piece carries a 1-year manufacturer warranty.

Questions, answered
Will it fit my door?
Check the door thickness and backset in the specifications. If your doors sit outside that range, write to us before ordering and we will confirm.
Is the latch included?
Where a set includes a latch it is listed in the specifications. Sets for existing latches are marked as lever or knob only.
Is it handed?
Most Sofina levers are reversible. Where a piece is handed it is offered as left or right in the options.
Passage, privacy or dummy?
Passage turns and latches with no lock. Privacy adds a thumb turn for bathrooms and bedrooms. Dummy is a fixed pull for closets and pantry doors that do not latch.
Can it be used on an exterior door?
These sets are for interior doors. Brass will weather outside and the latches are not rated for exterior use.
Do I need a professional to fit it?
A competent installer with a chisel and a drill can fit a lever set. New mortises and pocket door hardware are better left to a carpenter.
