Description
An alabaster bud on a copper stem, glowing like a lantern at dusk.
Calla is a wall lamp with a shade of carved alabaster petals, closed like a bud, on a slender stem of solid copper with a round backplate. Lit, the petals show their veins and the light falls warm and low. It stands 12.2 inches tall and 7.5 wide, sized for the narrow wall beside a bed or the gap between two bathroom mirrors. Choose the warmth of the light. Someone always asks where the flower came from, and then puts a finger to the stone.

Shipping and returns
Free U.S. shipping on every order. Handling takes 3 business days and delivery 15 to 20 business days after the order; priority processing shortens that to 10 to 20. Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery on unused, uninstalled pieces in their original packaging; a restocking fee of 5% applies, more if the packaging or parts are missing. Every piece carries a 1-year manufacturer warranty.

Questions, answered
Do I need an electrician?
Yes. Every Sofina lamp is hardwired to a standard junction box. It is a short job for a licensed electrician, and it keeps the warranty intact.
Is it wired for US power?
Yes. Every piece is made for 110 to 120 V circuits and arrives with its mounting bracket or canopy.
Which light colour should I choose?
Warm white 3000 K is what we photograph: it reads like candlelight through the stone. Neutral white 4000 K is cleaner and suits a bathroom mirror or a desk.
Can I dim it?
Pieces with a replaceable bulb take any dimmable LED in the same fitting and work with a standard LED dimmer such as the Brio rotary dimmer. For pieces with an integrated LED, check the specifications, and write to us if you plan to dim them.
Why does my alabaster look different from the photograph?
Because it is stone. Every slab is cut from its own block, so the veining and the tone vary from piece to piece. That is the point of it.
Can I use it in a bathroom?
Beside a mirror or over a vanity, yes. Keep it out of the shower zone, and ask your electrician about the zone rules for your bathroom.
